Two reasons prompted me to quit smoking though. First I was short of breath during a surf session and I think the last place you want to be short of breath is ten feet under water and the second is my girlfriend. She's allergic, I don't need to smoke, I love her, end of story. Hell I work cigarette advertising, have free cigs at my disposal and smoke less than at other agencies I've worked at. Just goes to show you that if you make it easy on yourself, it almost loses its sex appeal. but I can't deny I get nasty ass cravings from time to time. Oh well. Another method to quit is to tally up how much you spend on cigs, after your initial calculation, realize how much shit you could have bought. I think it's another effective way of quitting or at least reducing. Anyways, good luck with that and no worries, as long as you get to read the comments, I don't mind the filter. Laters. It had a woman with mouth cancer talking about smoking. Every time I light one up, I think of mouth cancer, and that's not really fun. I agree and appreciate smoke free environments now and do mind when smokers blow smoke towards me, but then again, any stranger blowing air in my direction can 1.) piss me off, or 2.) make me gag. But the whole kill the smokers thing is just a bit too much sometimes. I can buy orienting people about the hazards of smoking. I can support places not allowing smoking to promote healthy lifestyles. But having people hiss at people just because they smoke as if it makes non-smokers that special pisses me off the most.
